He has received numerous honors, including the Hispanic Business Salute Award from NBC Telemundo, the Hispanic Small Business of the Year Award, and several Outstanding Faculty Awards. Dedicated to giving back, Dr. Urdaneta actively participates in dental mission work around the world. His service has reached communities in the Fiji Islands, Jamaica, Mexico, and Venezuela, providing much-needed dental care to underserved populations.

Dr. Urdaneta lives in southern orange county with his wife Nancy and has four young adult children. He leads an active lifestyle and enjoys mountain biking, surfing, swimming, and piloting small airplanes.

A prosthodontist has three years of extended training in several areas of restorative dentistry, including dental implants, crowns, bridges, complete dentures, partial dentures, esthetics, occlusion, and facial and dental birth developmental defects.
